Director, Trading and Risk Management in either their Fairfax or Richmond Office.
The Director assumes overall responsibility for managing, monitoring and reporting for the Trading and Risk Management Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Identify, recommend and implement, through risk assessment, appropriate internal risk mitigation controls to reduce or eliminate market and financial risk to the firm
 Oversee day-to-day trading operations
 Monitor changes in the trading environment to maintain keen awareness of the potential impact on risk management
 Serve as the primary contact to clearing firms, senior management, financial advisors and others as appropriate for trading and risk management related questions and issues
 Partner with custodians and other external vendors to implement trading and risk management best practices are implemented and maintained
 Work closely with the Investment Committee and Portfolio Manager to implement new model portfolios and trading strategies
 Develop and maintain department policies and procedures
 Mentor and develop department staff and supervisors
