Dynamic Global Trading Firm, located in the Chicago Loop, is currently seeking a Data Architect with strong Data Warehousing and Data Mining experience.

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on experience building scalable data warehousing solutions on multiple platforms/operating systems (Windows is a must)
Experience satisfying high-performance reporting requirements
Thorough understanding of the Microsoft product stack in this space is essential
Experience with multiple RDBMS vendors is very helpful
Experience with OLAP
On medium-to-large scale data mining projects, you have been responsible for some of the following: requirements gathering, vendor interaction, product analysis and selection, architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment
Experience with implementing strategies for database change management that balance the need for additional features with the risk of introducing changes
Exposure to other reporting/data repository technologies (such as XML reporting engines) is very helpful

Experience and Skills:

Define, design, build, and deploy our next-generation data warehousing and reporting infrastructure
Collaborate with vendors on POC projects
Identify next-generation products to include in our new information architecture
Provide hardware requirements and work with our infrastructure teams on data warehouse build out
Support and train application development teams and end users as they begin using the new resources
Implement change management strategies to prepare for growth
